Where does the time go...?
I feel like now that I have a child I ask myself this question all of the time. I will try not to make this t0o long but there is lots to tell. Emilia is going to be 20 months old in 2 days, WOW!
Let's start back in October. We decided to take one last, spur of the moment trip to the beach with Matt (Uncle Matty). As you can see from the pictures, Emilia and Matt had fun bonding.
Emilia had a great time dressing up as a Penguin for Halloween. She had a party at school and we took her to a few houses on our street to trick or treat. She also had her first piece of chocolate (Kit Kat Bar) on Halloween and loved it. A girl after my own heart...
You will also see a few pics of Emilia at her first dentist appointment. She loved Dr. Elliott's office and was a very good and patient.
November was a busy month as well. We had a fall party, hosted a baby shower for some friends and before we knew it it was Thanksgiving. This year we went to Wrightsville Beach with my moms family to celebrate Jojo's 75th birthday and Thanksgiving. While we were there we took Emilia to the Aquarium and we were able to make it to Caitlin's 2nd birthday party. As you can see from the pictures, Emilia had a blast at the birthday party! It was a fun weekend of celebrations and spending time with family.
As you can see from the pictures, Emilia is growing and is now a little sponge. She picks up on everything we say and has fun repeating words and some phrases. This weekend she said "I love you Daddy". Ahhh, the little things that melt my heart...
We will be getting ready for the holidays over the next few weeks, just like the rest of the world. We will update the blog after Christmas and New Year's. We hope you all have a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah and a Happy New Year.
Leslie, Joe and Emilia
