Hello Family and Friends,
Yeah, it's finally Spring! We are more than ready for warm weather, especially since the time has changed. We are ready to spend more time outside playing and taking walks together. Over the past month and a half we've been spending lots of time with family and friends and watching lots of basketball. When Emilia sees basketball on the tv she says "go heels" or "go duke" depending on her mood. Lately she's been on a "go Duke" kick. I told her yesterday it's Go HEELS for the rest of the season.
We just got back from a really nice Easter weekend at the beach with Joe's parents and Aunt Gin. Emilia had a blast dying Easter eggs, hunting for Easter eggs and finding Roly Poly's on the driveway. She's been learning about insects and signs of spring at school so she thought they were pretty cool.
Joe and I are getting ready to celebrate our 5 year anniversary this weekend. WOW! We will be celebrating in mid April. We are taking a trip to Punta Cana with two of our best friends, Becca and Trent. Emilia is turning 2 in a couple of weeks. We cant believe it! She is getting so big and is so much fun. She has such a great sense of humor and makes us laugh all the time. She is always singing, dancing or wanting us to read her "Go Dog Go", "Corduroy" or "One Fish, Two Fish". Other than that not much else is going on in our world, just busy, busy.
Let's hope the Heels pull off another NCAA championship this year. GO HEELS!!!
We will post more pictures in late April after Emilia's birthday, our trip and Heather's wedding.
We hope you all are doing well.
Love,
Leslie
