Hello Family and Friends,

My how the summer has flown by... Emilia just turned 16 months old and is continuing to surprise with new things everyday. Her vocabulary is what has been amazing us the most. Next week she will be transitioning to the Toddler classroom at school, so this will be a big step for her and for me and Joe as well. It's hard to believe she is no longer an infant.

Joe just finished his last home improvement project inside the house. He finished painting the crown molding in the dining room and it looks GREAT! So I guess that means this fall we will be focusing on the outside of the house. I just got back from visiting Mary, Bob and their new addition, Landon in Illinois. It was a really nice trip and so great to see them for the weekend. As the summer wraps up we will be heading to the beach one last time in September and then heading out to Cali for Emily and Alex's wedding, which we are super excited about. We hope you all are doing well and we'll post some more pics soon.
