HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY, CHASE!

This blog is dedicated to my Little Man, who is turning into such a big boy. Gosh, where does the time go? I feel like I have said that so many times over the past few years but over the past year time has flown by.

Chase you have been such an amazing addition to our family and have completed us. Your laid back, easy going disposition is incredible. It's hard to believe that you are already waving bye bye, blowing kisses, crawling and trying to walk. Before we know it you will be in Kindergarten just like your big sister, who by the way loves you to pieces. She has been such a big helper this year while we've adjusted to having another you and for the most part has adjusted very well. I think she has drawn you over 100 pictures and cards since you were born. It's feels like yesterday that she was calling you little octopus and now you are here trying to take her markers from her while she is coloring a picture for you. I hope you guys are best of friends some day! Happy 1st Birthday little man, we love you SO much!!!!

I guess our last post was at the end of January and now it's mid-March. Thankfully the weather is getting nice and with day light savings we are able to spend more time outside in the evenings. We have been fairly busy over the past 8 weeks. We started February off with a visit from silly Uncle Matty and then celebrated the other Uncle Matt's birthday with a superbowl party. The next weekend we celebrated Holden's 2nd birthday and Joe and I got to go on a date night to see Josh Radin. It was so nice to have an adult night out with each other. We took a trip to Winston-Salem to see Nana for her 85th birthday the next weekend. The last weekend in February I got to spend time with Jocelyn, Joe's cousin. I am her sponsor for her confirmation. We had a lot of fun getting to know each other and I had fun getting to meet some of her best friends and their sponsors. That leads us up to March Madness! March madness started off with UNC beating Duke and Steph and I attending a big fund raiser together. We left the guys at home with the kiddies while we got all dressed up and went out. This past weekend we celebrated Chase's birthday and watched Duke get revenge on UNC. The rest of the month is pretty busy for us, with a bachelor party, I'm going on a girls weekend, more birthdays, and Joe and my 8th anniversary.

Emilia is getting ready to start soccer and Joe is going to be the Assistant Coach. We also found out that Emilia passed her Kindergarten test and is going to be a big Kindergartener next year. Crazy!!!!

Life is good and lots of fun! We are looking forward to spring and spending lots of time on our new porch and outdoors.

We hope you all are in good health and doing well.
