Hi Family and Friends!
We are getting excited about the arrival of fall and cooler weather. But more importantly we are excited about the arrival of Emilia's new little brother OR sister. Emilia is going to be a big sister in March and we are all very excited! Joe and Emilia are convinced we are having another girl but we won't know until sometime in October. We'll keep you posted...
We did not leave Cary much over the last couple of months because we have been busy with soccer, birthday parties, weddings and spending time with friends and family. Joe and Emilia both finished up soccer a couple weeks ago and Joe is back at it again. Emilia was not sure about us signing her up for the fall session but after scoring the most goals in her summer olympics at school she came home and decided she wants to play soccer again. Emilia just started ballet this week and she is really enjoying it. Her teacher is quite a pistol, she told me I was not allowed to take pictures until the end of class. I thought, WOW, they are only three but I guess it can be a distraction.
Emilia is moving up to the 3 1/2 yr. old preschool room next week. We know she is ready but I can't believe she is already 3 1/2 years old. Time sure flies...
Joe took a little road trip to Bristol, TN with Rick to see a Nascar Race last month. As you can see from the pictures they had a great time. How can anyone resist the smell of octane, loud engines and Twisted Tea (malt liquor sweetened iced tea). They had a blast!
It was great to laugh and spend time with old friends a couple of weeks ago at Adam and Lee's wedding. Congrats Adam and Lee. Thanks for a fun weekend!
Besides cool weather and the leaves starting to change color we all know what's in store for fall.... lots of football, Halloween and good times to be had with friends and family. We hope you all are doing well!
